Writing a journal is a great way to keep memories of moments past from slipping completely from existence... I've been a journal writer for decades, usually sporadic with weeks or months going by between entries... when writing a memoir having these journals is a fantastic resource to 'remember' fuzzy timings 🙃
This morning as I sat down to write, I got distracted by this particular journal, covering an 18-month period over 2017-2018. This journal covered topics I created and shared with a group of women who met online weekly. It was a pivotal time in my life, and when I read what I wrote back then, I'm actually in awe of myself.
You see, we get so busy with life, we forget who we were and who we've become. We forget our innate wisdom that is sitting inside us, and we need to remember ourselves from time to time instead of getting lost in the whirlwind of life. I'm excited to write about this period of my life and share what I learnt. Silent Warrior - Legacy will be very different from Silent Warrior - Transformation, and that's becoming more apparent as I squirrel away on the 1st draft 😇And if there's one thing I've learnt in spades in this lifetime - "𝑾𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒍𝒅 𝒔𝒂𝒚𝒔 𝒈𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝒖𝒑, 𝒉𝒐𝒑𝒆 𝒘𝒉𝒊𝒔𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒔, 𝒕𝒓𝒚 𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝒎𝒐𝒓𝒆 𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒆..."
